She's 4!

I can still remember waking up in the middle of the night, not feeling right. I thought it might have something to do with the french onion soup I had eaten that night. Chad suggested that I should eat a bowl of ice cream to help with my heart burn. A couple hours later, I was on the phone calling the dr. Soon we were on our way to the hospital just to see if everything was okay. Well, then about 12 hours later we were holding our beautiful Baby Mabry. Now here we are 4 years later... standing in awe of her. She makes us laugh on a daily basis. Yes, some days she frustrates us but what child doesn't. She is such a card. In the last few days you can see her changing into a mature little girl. In a blink of our eyes she is 4. It's amazing how God answers our prayers. We love you, Mabry! Happy Birthday!

Not quite awake yet!

Mabry opening her Barbie helmet. Does she realize what is around the corner?

Nope! She had no clue that a bike was hiding around the corner! Look at that face!!

Labor Day

The girls and I had some visitors over Labor Day weekend... Grams, Albert, Aunti H, Aunt Alicia, Uncle Eric, and Baby Colton. We had a fun time!

The three cousins. Aren't they cute!

Preschool!

It's hard to believe that I'm making this post but Mabry started preschool yesterday! She was so excited to go. Here are some pictures I snapped of her big day!

" I Two!"

Miss Sydney Ann turned two on Sunday. Her favorite words to say now are "I two!" She says them with pride. We celebrated her big day with a Tinkerbell party. Everyone received some fairy dust when they walked in... even some dads got some! The kids played outside until lightning made them come in. Sydney had a great time and slept like a rock when the night was over.

Sydney listening to Daddy sing her happy birthday. The pj's don't match because Mabry picked them out the night before!

Her best buddy, Papa! I love the smile!

No More Pull-Ups!

After our trip back to Nebraska over the 4th, Mabry decided she was done wearing pull-ups at night. I was a little worried about this, envisioning middle of the night bed sheet changes, baths every morning and such. Well, she has proven me very wrong! Not one problem...yet! So to celebrate her achievement she got new American Girl pj's for her and her doll. She was so excited!

Another shot... I love the hand on the hip!

Sydney wanted to be part of the action too... so she went and grabbed her doll and posed as well.

Mabry's Photo Session

Yesterday Mabry grabbed my camera and wanted to take some pictures. I thought this could be interesting so I said sure! Here are the pictures that came out of her photo session. She's pretty good!

Mommy's Shoes!

You know how you can tell when your children are getting older by the little things they do? Well, Miss Sydney has joined Mabry in playing with Mommy's shoes. When I am getting ready in the mornings, there favorite thing to do is to get into my closet. So, I apologize early for the pictures of Sydney with messy hair, Mommy had not done it yet for the day.

Mabry loves my black "strappie" shoes and Sydney loves these black high heels. Her hair is super messy in this picture.

She has on her favorites again! Love the cheezy smile!

She also loves to carry around purses, the more the merrier!

Sometimes she even ventures out to try on some of Daddy's shoes too!

Mabry thought she would try some too!
