Last Day at FCC

One of our hardest goodbyes were at our church that became our home and family. We made some lifelong friends through First Christian Church. It was a quite a day of tears and goodbyes.

Sydney and Isabel

Mr. Don and Mrs. Pam... I still get a lump in my throat when I see this picture.  They made such an impact on our girls' lives.  We will be forever grateful that they were placed in our lives!

Seasons of Dance Recital

At the beginning of June the girls had their annual dance recital. Mabry danced in two dances this year, one her class's dance and then the mother/daughter dance. Sydney danced in one class but was absolutely in love with her costume because of the crown!

11 years and many, many memories!

It's hard to believe that I taught in Clinton for 11 years. I was very blessed to have met and worked with many wonderful people. I made many wonderful friends that hold a special place in my heart!

Kindergarten... Beginning to End

Since I am still playing "catch up" on our blog I thought I would include a beginning and ending picture of Mabry from kindergarten. You can really see her grow in the pictures!

Proud of you, Daddy!

In May, Chad received his MBA from Millikin University. This was an 18 month program that began the January before Linley was born. It was a little stressful at times but in the end, we are all very thankful that the hard work paid off! We are very proud of him!

After a long wait...

Mabry has been wanting to get her ears pierced for a very loooooooonnnnngggg time! For many months she had been pointing out other people's earrings in public, while reading books, watching tv, on billboards, you name it and she saw the earrings first! Chad had said "Not until you're 10!" Well... Daddy gave in at the age of 6 and a half. So on Memorial Day we took her out to the mall and told her we were doing some quick shopping. We walked her into Claire's and she thought we were there to shop. Chad asked her if she wanted to get her ears pierced, her reply "Ummmm, let me think about it!" We both were thinking "What? You have been wanting this for the last few months!" Well, she finally got the courage to make her wish come true. It was a great day for Miss Mabry! Mabry right after she made her decision to get her ears pierced.
A little pinch!
Finally done!

Year and a half later...

Well, here we go again seeing if I can keep it up. Many things have happened since my last post in January of 2011. Miss Linley has joined our family and we have moved to Minnesota! Yikes! My goal now is to get caught up on our blog. Please have patience with me as I catch up :)
